Arsenal have been in pursuit of a midfielder, as they lack depth and quality in the middle of the park, and have been linked with Juventus star; Arthur Melo as their potential winter target. But Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri has issued a clear message on the midfielder.
The Gunners have had a torrid January after crashing out of the FA Cup to Nottingham Forest, they lost out to Manchester City in the dying minutes of the game and most recently the need for a midfielder was more pronounced when they lost out to a Liverpool side without star players Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Unfortunately Juventus boss has Massimilliano Allegri has issued a statement about Arthur as he claims “they are not going to change anything”.
“This is our team and we’re not gonna change anything,” he said, “Arthur’s part of Brazil national team, he’s an important player” Allegri said.
Juventus boss also confirmed that former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey would be leaving the club this winter and a lot of English club are eyeing the Welshman.
According to Goal, Arsenal have already met with Arthur Melo’s agent, Federico Pastorello, to discuss a loan move until the end of the season, but will now have to turn to Alternatives as their hunt for a midfielder continues.
