Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac has joined French side Olympique de Marseille on a free transfer.
The defender joined Arsenal on a free transfer from Schalke 04 in the summer of 2017 and won one FA cup and two community shield with the club
A statement from Arsenal reads “Sead Kolasinac has left the club by mutual consent”.
“The 28-year-old defender who joined us from German side Schalke in June 2017, has become a free agent with his contract being terminated with immediate effect, and has joined French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille.”
Kolasinac made more than 100 appearances for Arsenal, and becomes the third Arsenal player to leave following Ainsley Maitland Niles and Folarin Balogun who left the club temporarily.
