Goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo who completed his move last week to Crewe Alexandra went straight to play his first 90min competitive senior game against Rochdale during the weekend and won 2-1. In the same line, Portuguese left-back Nuno Tavares made his debut for French club Marseille in a preseason-friendly against AC Milan in which they lost 2-0.
23-year-old Auston Trusty who is currently on loan to Birmingham City has made his debut playing 90min in a goalless championship season-opening match against Luton Town. Englishman Tyreece John-Jules who joined Arsenal in 2018 and is currently on a season-long loan to Ligue 1 club Ipswich Town is keeping the fire alive as he played 31mins in a 1-1 draw match against fellow Ligue 1 club Bolton Wanderers.
220-year-old Ryan Alebiosu who is on loan to Scottish club Kilmarnock FC played 59 min against fellow Scottish side Dundee United FC this weekend. The youngster gave an impressive performance but the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Swedish player Nikolaj Möller who was loaned out to FC Den Bosch earlier this year has been putting on a good show and scoring goals for the team. Tho they lost 3-2 to Almere City on Friday, Nikolaj still scored for the club in the match.
Goalkeeper Ovie Ejeheri who is on loan to Chelmsford City has continued to keep a clean sheet as they went against Wealdstone on Saturday and won 3-0. 20-year-old Tunisian player Omar Rekik made his debut for Sparta Rotterdam in a 3-1 preseason friendly win game against FC Emmen.
