The Gunners saw themselves take an early exit from the Emirates FA cup and the need for a Striker was more pronounced as they search for a young long lasting successor for out of favor striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexander Lacazette looks set to leave this summer.
Arsenal’s technical director Edu is leaving no stones unturned as Brazilian reports insist he is pushing every possible button to bring in the Serbian.
However Arsenal face stiff competition from different European clubs including Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan, and it is believed the striker might be favoring a stay in Italy to sign for either of the Italian giants.
It is also Understood that Arsenal’s North London rivals Tottenham could also pose a threat as Technical Director Fabio Paratici has a close relationship with the Serbian’s agent as this might be helpful in luring the striker to Tottenham.
Dusan Vlahovic has found the back of the net 16 times this season in the Serie A.
Arsenal will be hopeful they can bring him in but if the deal doesn’t go through they turn their attention to alternative strikers including Alexander Isak of Real Sociedad, Johnathan David who plays in Lille and Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
