Arsenal have agreed a deal with Porto in the region of €35m + add ons. He is set to sign a contract until 2027. Let’s take a look at what he can bring to the Gunners.

Fábio Vieira is a 22-year-old Portuguese midfielder who plays for Portuguese Primeira Liga club Porto. The left-footed playmaker has contributed 7 goals and 16 assists in 39 appearances this season. He averages 0.9 assists per 90 mins this season.

Fabio is a product of Porto’s famous youth academy. He made his first team debut for Porto on the 6th of October in 2020. That season he made 8 appearances for the first team, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist.

In his first 2 seasons Porto liked to use him on the wing, especially at RW. In the 21/22 season he showcased what he can do in a moral central position as he was usually deployed in the attacking midfielder position.

Fabio is set piece specialist and will always be a goal threat from dead ball situations.
