Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a move to Arsenal, and it is thought that a deal might be completed in the January transfer window.
According to Fichajes, the North London club is interested, and Arteta has ‘given a resounding yes when accepting the entrance’ of the South American.
The Gunners spent almost £150 million over the summer, but Wenger feels he has the financial backing of the club’s management if he needs it.
Regardless, he was dubious if fresh faces will arrive in the first month of 2022.
He stated of the owners, “I believe they have always offered support.”
“This has always been the situation since I’ve been here.” We’ve attempted to be as transparent as possible about the plan we wish to implement. Instead of worrying about how much money we’ll spend, think about how much money we’ll put in the team and the football club, and take it one step at a time.
“Each case will be handled differently, and each circumstance will be handled differently. But there is only one goal, and that is to be the best squad.”
However, Mikel Arteta’s focus this window is on the forward as he wants to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, so a deal for Coutinho may not be essential.
