Liverpool closed the gap on Manchester City in the league when they defeated Arsenal at the Emirates.

It was a rather quiet first half as both teams matched themselves for skill and Pace until the second half where Portuguese Diogo Jota broke the deadlock as he beat Aaron Ramsdale at his near post.

Roberto Firminho completed the damage to the Gunners as great trickery and a super movement was enough to connect with a pass from Robertson and seal off the game.
