Jurgen Klopp has praised Arsenal’s boss Mikel Arteta as he claims the Spaniard has done a really exceptional job in transforming Arsenal.

Liverpool face Arsenal in the first leg of their league cup semi final and speaking at his Pre match conference the German says Arsenal are really playing exciting football and Arteta has a clear idea on how he wants his team to play and mature.

Liverpool who outclassed Arsenal the last time both teams met in the premier league, a game where things got heated between both coaches and the Reds will be looking to continue their winning run against Arsenal.

“Since then (their PL win over Arsenal), they were in a good moment then,” said Klopp. “But it’s now maybe in an even better moment.

“They play really exciting football. Mikel’s doing a really exceptional job. Having a lot of young boys upfront. Three up front, which they usually play.”

It’s really exciting to watch. Good set-up. A clear idea, so I think they improved a lot between then and now, even if they were already good then. We just played a really good game against them. That’s a tricky draw.” the German added.

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing game against Nottingham Forest,a game in which they crashed out of the FA Cup.
