Arsenal’s top target and Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic was seen waving to the Fiorentina fans during his side’s clash with Genoa.
The Serbian registered his 17th goal of the season after scoring against Genoa although he had missed a penalty earlier on in the game.
Vlahovic coming on in the second half was seen waving to the fans, an act that has been interpreted to mean many things.
Former Arsenal star Stewart Robson who was co commenting on BT had suggested the Serbian’s act was a goodbye to the Fiorentina fans.
“Very interesting the way that Vlahovic, as he came back on, waved to all the fans. A lot of the players, the Fiorentina players, gave him a hug and said something to him as well.”
“Could this be his last half of football for Fiorentina?” Stewart Said.
Commentator Paul Dempsey replied: “Well you’re very well informed normally Stewart.
Other reports have suggested Vlahovic’s act was a means of apologizing to the fans for his penalty miss, a mistake he made up for in the second half as his team hammered Genoa 6-0.
