Aliko Dangote Oil Refinery Near Completion.
The contractor handling Dangote oil and gas refinery is working hard to ensure the project meet its specified time and deadline. Though, the impact of Covid-19 caused many disrupted activities, which make the company to reduce their workers with a view of complying with Covid-19 guidelines.
The project was scheduled for completion and start production in 2016, but due to relocation, it was postpone to 2019 ending.
The slow construction going on at the refinery may caused inefficient Lagos ports, which may cause the importation of steel very difficult.
Dangote oil and gas refinery will likely put an end to importation of refined crude oil, it will definitely cart for local needs, including the exportation of surplus refined petroleum products.
And as at that time, petrol price will likely to be much better compare to this time.
Currently, Nigeria lack the capacity to refine the crude oil into a finished products. The three major refineries in Nigeria located in Kaduna, Port Harcourt and Warri are all in comatose.
Aliko Dangote oil refinery at its completion, I believed it will put an end to Petroleum suffering in Nigeria.

Dangote Petroleum refinery has the largest pipeline infrastructure in the world, with 1,100 kilometer to handle three(3) billion standard cubic foot of gas per/day.
You won’t believe this: the refinery alone have a standby 400MW power plant that is capable of meeting the total power requirement of Ibadan Disco( Ibadan Electricity).
