Despite the debt of Barcelona which was announced by Joan Laporta which is £1.16bn, Barcelona have not had any hindrance in the their performance in the transfer market for this summer.
Barcelona who have already signed three players this summer if which include: Franck Kessie from AC Milan, Andreas Christensen from Chelsea and Raphinha from Leeds United.
Barcelona are still eying Sevilla defender Jules Kounde. Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez has given a notice that he is not planning to include Gerard Pi Que in the plans for next season’s campaign.
Andreas Christensen is set to replace Gerard Pi Que and pair up alongside £1bn release clause worth Ronald Araujo. The reason why Barcelona are still pursuing Jules Kounde is remained undisclosed.
Rumours have been said that Kounde will now replace newly acquired Andreas Christensen and they will be exchanging each other’s position by substitution.
Barcelona will need to pay about €75m for Kounde. Barcelona have already spent €127m on purchases including Robert Lewandowski transfer that is upcoming. Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen came to Barcelona as a free agent from AC Milan and Chelsea respectively.
