The 2022 summer transfer window is far from over for the English football team Arsenal as they are setting things in motion to sign Manchester City football Saviour Gabriel Fernando de Jesus. The 25-year-old player who was seriously considered this summer by Tottenham Hotspur is now number on the list of top players for Arsenal.
The Brazilian forward who started his professional football path in 2015 officially joined Machester City in 2017 on a contract that is set to expire in the summer of 2022. Tottenham who previously was in a chase for the player is now considered off the table after signing Erling Haaland and have chosen to focus on fellow Brazilian players Raphinha and demanding sensation Richarlison as both players have been linked to Arsenal’s radar.
Gabriel Jesus who is been sought after by other European clubs like Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain has been valued for nothing less than €50m by Manchester City.
Arsenal are now front liners in the race for the player as a reunion with Arteta is not far-fetched and the player might be looking at a bright future in North London. A verbal fee agreement is said to be in place between the two clubs as the move might be completed in the coming week.
