However, according to Danny Mills’ research, Arsenal might do a stunning transfer u-turn and sign Alexandre Lacazette to a new contract before the conclusion of the season.

“Perhaps a year ago, Lacazette thought to himself, ‘That’s it.’ Aubaemyang has stepped into the spotlight, he’s the main man, he’s got the new deal, and it’s made my nose bleed.
“Perhaps he’s thinking right now, ‘The Aubameyang scenario, he could be leaving, and we don’t really have another striker.’ Maybe that’s given him a boost and lifted him up a notch.
